You’ll be pleasantly surprised how Cornwall is very much a year-round destination! In Newquay itself most of the attractions stay open 12 months a year, including the Zoo. Some of the beach bars close, though many are still open, as surfing continues throughout the year. The Barrowfield runs regular excursions in November – and there are plenty of places to choose from: towns such as Padstow, Truro, Falmouth and St Ives, and many of our favourites – such as the Cyder Farm. Many of the houses and gardens stay open too, including Eden. The weather is usually mild, so it’s a great time for walking the Coastal footpath, and wildlife spotting too.

And the Barrowfield has lots going on to keep you entertained – including an indoor pool.
