Bournemouth couple win our ‘who’s been married the longest’ prize
Pictured enjoying their complimentary holiday at the Sands Hotel in Bournemouth - after winning Daish’s Holidays’ ‘who’s been married longest competition’ – are Arthur and Minnie Kearley.
The Bournemouth couple, who married in 1937 and will be celebrating 74 years of marriage in 2011, won the prize in our recent competition.
The couple, who have been enjoying holidays with Daish’s for the past seven years, always stay in the Sands Hotel in their home town. Said Mrs Kearney: “The hotel is close to our home in Kinson so we don’t have far to travel, we enjoy meeting up with old friends and the food and entertainment are second-to-none.
“Our motto is that you are never too old to enjoy yourself and holidays keep you young.”
