Do you actually encourage single people to stay at your hotels or discourage them?
Anonymousnow there’s a question! see the many previous blog posts for the full answer. but we certainly do our best to keep up with the insatiable demand for single rooms - we allocate more than we actually have, we don’t charge supplements for single rooms and, if they’ve all gone (which is often), we give the best price we possibly can for a larger room (which would normally be booked by 2 people).
